Thank you so much to Nashville radio station 105.9 The Rock for stepping up to the plate and creating "Woofstock" to promote On The Fifth Day. Now, more than ever, we need funds to help the animals and to break ground on the sanctuary in 2009. "It takes a village…" to turn around the animal overpopulation problem in our community and in Tennessee. Please give something, even one dollar, to help us reach our goal (See "About Us").

Hello, my name is Brady. I didn’t want to give up, so I fought hard to live. And
now, I'm so appreciative and loving. I'm currently being well taken care of in a
foster home, but still long for a permanent place to call my own. If you're
looking for a strong, true companion, who is a lover, not a fighter, then I'm your
boy!
"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened." ~ Anatole France

"I was so scared. And lonely. My mom
was nowhere to be seen. Hungry….
There was a big building so I walked
over. Humans started throwing some
food out of doors. It tasted so good. But
then, they wouldn't let me in. Don't
know why. I miss Mama. She named me
BooBoo. I'm still scared. Still lonely. I've
learned food alone doesn't make my
heart feel better. I don't bother anything.
Could I please come and live with you?
I can't imagine going on like this…."

Dixie didn’t feel like celebrating this 4th of July. She kept looking out of the dog park where she was abandoned.
Her wonderful rescuers are now fostering her and say she’s nothing but wonderful. She’s young – under a year – frisky,
loves riding in the car, smart, and probably lived outside a lot. So under the experienced instruction of her foster family,
she’s being crate trained, socialized, and loved unconditionally. If you think Dixie is the perfect addition to your “pack,”
please call and make her next holiday the first with her permanent family.

All of our animals are vetted – vaccinations are current – and spayed or neutered.
If you can supply forever homes, tons of love, and are prepared
for the responsibilities of a lifetime companion animal, please
contact us. Brady, BooBoo, and Dixie thank you so much. And are waiting…..

Welcome!
...to the winner's generation of animal welfare. There's a new kid (pups, too!) in
town, and we aim to set animal abuse and overpopulation on its ear. That's Southern
for "stop the nonsense with updated solutions." And some that are true blue as well.
By...
- Working together with veterinarians, animal control, shelters, rescuers, and volunteers
- Educating the public diplomatically and having some fun
- Reinvigorating adoptions and procedures…
On The Fifth Day (animal sanctuary) will see the day when there are No More Homeless
Pets in Tennessee. We'll see about the rest of the country a little later.
Please get comfortable, and look around a while.
We need your help.
